Display of metadata schemas applied to an Asset are displayed in their asset ID order and can't be reordered. This means that it isn't possible to control the order in which Edit+ users see metadata; a 'logical' arbitrary ordering is needed so the most important schemas/fields can come first.
There's no solution or workaround known for this issue. A potential workaround of cloning a schema (to get a higher asset ID) and deleting the original is unworkable as the metadata for existing assets will be lost. A workaround could be to manually change asset IDs, though suspect this isn't possible. Another workaround could be to write a Edit+ JS plugin to reorder the edit interface, but this is just one area...
