A simple Google Chrome extension to thwart news from ruining your day.
Visit the Google Chrome extensions page. Click "Add to Chrome". Voila.
When you visit a page from a news site, you will be warned about how it may ruin your day.
This essay by Aaron Swartz made me do it.
