I'm considering creating a FreeBSD port (package) for this project so the tool can be easily installed via the OS package manager.
Would it be possible to get a new release given that the last one is from 2018?

The latest release is from 2022.07.30. :)

Also, hi! Thanks for your interest in packaging stdman for FreeBSD. That sounds great.

You mean the release that literally states "unofficial releases"? :D

These man pages are regenerated from the HTML books provided by the unofficial source (mentioned by the cppreferece) and not the official one. That's because the latest official release still dates back to June 2019!

I guess I got mislead by the GitHub WebGUI - sorry for the noise!

The FreeBSD port has landed: https://www.freshports.org/devel/stdman/
FreeBSD users can now simply run:

pkg install stdman

to install the pre-compiled man pages provided by the repository.
