Feature request - immediate update

Thank you for this amazing plugin. It is exactly what I needed to implement a members only site, with one exception. I was wondering if it were possible to have member status checks done a more immediate basis.

Our workflow is such that a Subscriber signs up as a Member, and then we would like to sell them an Event. The Event is restricted to Members only, but the person is still logged in after the membership purchase.

Do you have any suggestions as to how I can do the equivalent of a manual reset every so often, like every 2 or 3 seconds?
