Describe the bug
The playing|pause state is not synchronized with the desktop environment (KDE in my case).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Play a song
  2. Pause the song
  3. Try to unpause from anywhere other than from inside the player (for example: using media hotkeys, some widget/media extension, task bar, display manager on locked screen, ...)
  4. While the song is paused, all these elements think it's still playing so you see pause option/button instead of resume and you'll have to click it twice to resume in that case.

Expected behavior
Pausing a song from inside the player should mark the media as paused for all system/desktop environment elements

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Manjaro
  • Version KDE

Thanks, confirmed this on my side as well. I'll put a fix in.
