To improve UX, accounts with no password should not be presented with the quick connect screen. Neither should they need to "enter a password", as when presented with that screen the user simply leaves the password field empty the presses the "Sign in" button.
Accounts with no authentication should bypass these authentication screens and immediately log-in.
Obvious use case: young children may have an account set up for them, with no authentication. But the additional login screens are confusing for them. They expect to be able to select their profile photo and gain access to their account immediately.
