I am trying to use your package to determine system dependencies, but it doesn't seem to be working as I thought it would.

Environment Details:
MacOS Monterey 12.0.1
R Version 4.1.0

I installed your package from CRAN and tried using the package_sysdeps function and no matter what I do I keep getting the following:

maketools::package_sysdeps("openssl")
[1] shlib   package headers source  version url    
<0 rows> (or 0-length row.names)

I have tried using the above command (from your example in the vignette) as well as building my own packages locally and running on them and within their package directories with the same result.

Hopefully I'm just missing something, but any help would be appreciated!
