Heroku app not stable

Expected behavior and actual behavior

Expected to load the app homepage as on localhost normally without any error.
Actual behavior, sometimes it reports 500 and error out.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Simply visit http://bittigerx-java-appstore.herokuapp.com/app/C268. On app restart, this displays the correct json app information fine. Homepage loads fine. But after a few minutes, visiting this page will see the 500 error.

Possible cause

Issue might be related to our spring boot app not supporting https correctly. If you visit https://bittigerx-java-appstore.herokuapp.com, home page display messes up.

Specifications like the version of the project, operating system, or hardware

Visited with chrome on windows 10.
