I organize my notes in folders and sometimes I have notes with the same name in different folders.

Feature Request is about boosting links that reside in the same parent folder (or one of the parent folders) as a current note. With this I will be more likely to link proper notes instead of searching for required one.

Thank you for reaching out!

I'm hesitant to implement this feature as you described it, as I can imagine that the combination of directories to boost might be heavily dependent on user preference, and I haven't yet thought of an elegant-feeling way to expose that in the plugin's settings.

However, I've just now posted v1.1.0-beta0, which searches the full file path alongside each file's aliases. Thus, searching for <name of directory> <example alias> should preference files within the named directory. Might that address your suggestion? And if so, would you be willing to try out the new beta version?

Again, thank you!

Thanks for the response.

But my use case is slightly different to your suggestion as I'm looking for a way to simplify the process of finding related notes by boosting the notes that share the same parent directory with the current note without specifying explicitly the parent directory itself.
Also, the built-in Obsidian's link suggester already able to work when pointing a name of the directory.
