Is it possible to implement zoom function?

Dear Coder,

Is it possible to implement zoom function on the camera to get barcode? I found google ml barcode scanner which has zoom function, when the camera closer to barcode, it reads it way better and faster. Could you help me to implement it? Thanks in advance.

I am not sure how much effort this will take, though.
How should the UX be? Pinch-to-zoom or just a button? Or the snapchat-1-finger-slide?

Hello, Thank you very much for your interest, I can highly suggest https://pub.dev/packages/google_ml_kit this plugin. In its barcode scanner function, they added a slider that slides with zoom. Pinch to zoom looks great as well. I will I have better knowledge on flutter (still learning very basic at the moment) I would like to help to improve it. I wish to add a picture upload function or manual barcode entry if it is troubling to detect but I think the zoom function will enable to scan barcodes from far away. I am testing on the shops :) Really thankful for your effort this is the best plugins that I have test ( almost 10, most of them are not working in old android versions), and 2 workings one cannot cope with yours. It is almost the same SDK as scandit which you may pay tons of money. (By the way button for zoom would be ugly)
