I'm glad to be working on oboe, but it's a large codebase that I didn't write, so I can't progress quickly. I am a fan of helping anyone interested in contributing to a project to do so as soon as possible, so I thought I would open that up here.

If you want to help with this project, let me know here what you'd like to help with. Or just say you're interested and we can talk through what I see as the next steps 😄

Given that I only work on Oboe in my spare time for fun, that I don't use it in production, and that no one has expressed an interest in becoming a maintainer, I'm planning on marking Oboe as unmaintained on June 23, 2017 July 5, 2017.

If someone would like to take on the project, let me know! I'm glad to offer help

Hi,
I might be able to help with this, if my company says is OK.
I don't really know the project at all, so I'd love if you could explain to me how it fits together :)

Unfortunately I also don't know much of how it fits together, but I'm willing to explain the work I've done on the testing and we can try to understand more together 😃 Let me know what they say! I can wait another week to hear back from you

Yeah, please do :)
They'll ask for approval for the first few patches I commit, but it should be alright :)

@ehlemur @sergiobonfiglio Maybe what would be best if is if you let me know what type of work you're interested in doing and I can help get you started. This tag might be a good place if you want ideas

If you are still looking for help with maintaining the project I can take a look. I've used clarinet it production and like what's been done with it here.

@Aigeec If you're interested in helping out, we had talked about tackling #148 which has some WIP in #155 😀 I'm personally not doing any work there though

I could invest some time this weekend if possible. Any help is welcome and also additional maintainers.

@Aigeec great work on #156! I talked to @jimhigson and he's added you as a collaborator on the project. Feel free to work whatever issues you're interested in. I'll be around for reviews as needed and might take some issues on as well 😀

Just leaving a note that my project Antares is now using oboe (kindof as a peer dependency), and has a little demo of incremental loading up at https://s3.amazonaws.com/www.deanius.com/antares.html..

It uses an endpoint that I made explicitly to return pieces of the API response over time: https://untitled-yd6fw62bsoo0.runkit.sh/

There's also a JSBin which shoes the output of axios vs oboe here: https://jsbin.com/riyolox/edit?js,console
