in the meantime, I also investigate a workaround.

the PR is merged. However,

The build script has been changed to allow source kit to be built on Linux. It does not yet exist in the standard installation however, which means that it's not in the downloadable packages that come from swift.org.

so we still wait SR-1676

@alblue yes, I still hope the sourcekit lib in linux can be shipped with the official download. Because it is too large(70MB?) for download. But if this will not become true in a short term(as you hinted here), I am still open to have a workaround for the Linux side users.

given the reason in #9, SDE does not ship the bulit-in binary any more.
