Using dask.distributed in the notebook requires the ipywidgets package to show progress bars.

conda-forge offers noarch: python packages for ipywidgets and widgetsnbextension which can be install into a berryconda environment.

Never-the-less it would be nice to have these packages in the rpi channel. I'm building them now and will uploaded the shortly.
