Hi,

I'm using amp on a daily basis for my programming tasks and one of the things I really miss is a way to indent and unident blocks of selected text.
This is planned for a future version or there is some way to do it that I cannot figure out?

Thanks in advance and thanks for your great work in amp !

As an add on to this, perhaps commenting a selection?

Hi @pbgc! You can do this now by selecting a range of lines using V, and then using > and < to indent and outdent, respectively. It'll respect the tab settings, which you can configure on a per-format basis, too.

@Jackojc agreed, I'd like that, too. Can you open a separate issue for that, please? 🙂

@jmacdonald wow... I must have done something wrong... Because I tried exactly that before submitting this issue and it didn't worked...
I'm going to try again. Sorry.

@jmacdonald indeed it works perfectly! Don't know what I've done ... but it doesn't matter now! Sorry for taking your time and thanks again for your help and for you great work on amp!

Very welcome, @pbgc! Honestly, I think the focus for the next major release is going to center around onboarding/discoverability. There's a lot of surface area to Amp at the moment, and it's a bit of trial and error for users to figure things out; going to think how best to fix that. 🙂
