Found this little snag in the configuration of Apache with Epiphany.

One of the critical steps when using the .htaccess file is to set the AllowOverride directive to All in the Directory structure within httpd.conf.

Would be good for newbies to have that spelt out in the Routes documentation.

AllowOverride All is the default setting, I thought. http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/core.html#allowoverride Although, I would be inclined to agree that explicit instructions are a good idea.

Looks like the apache docs are pretty clear on All being the default, but on OS X 10.8.2 it was set to None.

Maybe it could just be a "check this setting to be sure" addition to the documentation?
