What is the relationship between the basic 1-category theory here and that in your other library, jmchapman/categories? It seems there is some overlap, but this library does not include all the results of that one? I imagine they would both be more useful if packaged together.

jmchapman/categories is an attempt to carve out the common basic material from this library and also jmchapman/restriction-categories

You're right it would be good to actually update the two dependent libraries so that they depend on categories.
