Multiplay Portable Project Converter

Converts Multiplay projects that depend on local audio files into portable, self-contained projects. All necessary files are copied into a project folder, which can be moved to and used in a different directory or on a seperate backup machine. v1.1

This tool greatly improves on the idea of Multiplay's Archive function.

Download

Download for all systems running Python 2.7

Setup

  1. Run converter.py
  2. Select the XML show file you would like to convert
  3. When conversion has finished, locate the portable project folder and move it to it's new destination
  4. Run the setup.py file located inside the folder
  5. Select the XML show file named "MyShow - Portable Copy"
  6. Open the show file in Multiplay
  7. Anytime the portable folder is moved, run the setup.py script before opening in Multiplay

System Requirements

Python 2.7 (available here for 64-bit Windows or here for 32-bit Windows)
