it is in my roadmad to look into Elasticsearch itself, cause I have not used it yet. If something similar can be done with Elasticsearch as I'm doing now with Solr that would be a good addition yes. I will not know until I look into it though.

Not really, but there is nothing really similar to edismax. There are a lot of other queries with several different parameters. So not sure how this tool would then look like. At least I could imagine a simple query_string query demo with some parameters and changing the boosting of a field or so.
Is it on the road map to add ElasticSearch support? E.g. for query_string, dis_max, ... hmmh probably a bit harder
