The UI for switching between short-form and long-form input dialogs is a right-pointing arrowhead ▶︎ in the short form. Clicking the arrowhead changes it to down-pointing ▼ and opens the type options. This is all fine.
The bug is that if the user has selected "Long form input dialog" in the settings, the dialog is created in long form, but with a right arrowhead instead of a down arrowhead. Switching to short form and then back to long form fixes it.
This isn't the most important problem in the world (although I wonder how many wrong pictures are in the manual!) but I imagine it'll be easy to fix.
