+1 this would bring support for WebSockets

I will start working on it (if nobody is already on it) then submit a PR soon... hopefully tomorrow if everything goes well and the option flags didn't change too much.

Ok, I have a version working here. Works on Mac. If you have access to a Linux and Windows box, can you please give it a try?

@saadtazi Just go ahead an open a PR, I'll bump the major version - if anybody has issues with Linux or Win, they'll open a bug quickly, I'm sure. :)
