Hi,
I would like to use this tool to document schematic automatically.
However, it doesn't work.

macOS High Sierra
homebrew
opam

KiCad 4.0.7

Error

Fatal error: exception Kicadsch__Kicadlib.MakePainter(P).Component_Not_Found("C")

I need more details. What command line you are using? This Error usually means that a component is missing in the cache library or that you did not specify or commit the cache library.
