Error when starting precompiled exe

When I open the precompiled .exe, it does seem to open the comport (com12), but begins with:

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

There is nothing (no files or folders) shown.
I can then enter Console mode, which works, but when I switch to Edit mode the error comes again.

Sorry, my mistake.
I had ampy installed in the Windows-Bash (WSL) but I had to install it in Windows itself.

No problem. BTW...some versions of AMPY cause issues with the program, so I stick to 1.03 at the moment. When the new owner starts to normalize the app, I will adjust the code and apps to match.
