Your Environment

Version used: 8.0.5
Operating System and version: Win 10

Steps to Reproduce

  • Start tracking time on a task or subtask.
  • Pause the tracking, either by the "Start/Pause tracking time" or the "Mark as done/undone" buttons (if "Start tracking next task when marking current as done" is disabled on Misc Settings).
  • Press "Skip to end of current Pomodoro session" on the top-right counter.

Current Behavior

The break notification appears as if it had just ended ("Your break is done!" text, "Close" and "Back to work!" options). Timer is full (5:00/15:00), but doesn't count down.

Expected Behavior

The break notification working as it normally does* ("You successfully finished session [...]! Enjoy yourself, get yourself moving, come back in: [...]" text, starting the break countdown, offering the "Close" and "Skip break" options).

*The break notification works as intended i. e. when pressing "Skip to end of current Pomodoro session" while a tracking timer is active.

Can you reproduce this reliably?

Yes.

Thank you very much for opening up this issue! I am currently a bit overwhelmed by the many requests that arrive each week, so please forgive me, if I fail to respond personally. I am still very likely to at least skim read your request and I'll probably try to fix all (real) bugs if possible and I will likely review every single PR being made (please, give me a heads up if you intent to do so) and I will try to work on popular requests (please upvote via thumbs up on the original issue) whenever possible, but trying to respond to every single issue over the last years has been kind of draining and I need to adjust my approach for this project to remain fun for me and to make any progress with actually coding new stuff. Thanks for your understanding!
