The user cannot highlight a word, or a sentence, and press "TTS" read form that position. This would be a great feature to add.

@johnfactotum Unwittingly, some confusion has been created. There are two bugs here.

The first is solved: reading a selection.

The second was the idea was that the TTS would start speaking from the highlight, but not stop at the end of the selection, instead carry on. It was meant to be a substitute for a 'pause' button. The ability to read a selection.
