Demo files do not work with download?

I have downloaded the zip file for superscrollorama twice and while the index.html file works perfectly, I see absolutely no animations with the demo.html and demo2.html pages. Worse, I tried a very very simple fade animation with it and nothing is happening on my own little demo page. I have looked at them in Firefox and Google Chrome. Can you take a look at the demo pages from your zip file on the website and reproduce my problem?
