The description page list Desktop support for MacOS and Windows but there are no instructions on how to use it.
I tried but could not get it work.

Does this plugin support or not support Desktop?

Sorry, this plugin does not support desktop yet. I will investigate removing the desktop tag from the plugin, but surprisingly it is not straightforward to to this and I think it will involve adding a bunch of useless stub code. :(

If you would like desktop support, please go give a thumbs up to this issue this issue on the Flutter website repo requesting documentation on adding a splash screen to a desktop app. Right now there are no docs, so I am unable to add this feature.

Hey, Flutter is stable for Desktop now. It would be nice if we got support for desktop as well😀
