there are some changes in kernel sources (mmap and neighbours) that break the blktap-dkms.
First of all, the do_mmap_pgoff() disappears from kernel header in 3.4 (at least in trunk, amd64)
what breaks compilation. In 3.5-rc5 the function prototype is back in the <linux/mm.h>, but it is no
longer exported, so the compiled blktap module is unusable.
Is there a plan to continue development of blktap-dkms? Can it be fixed for newer kernels? May I help
somehow? (patching/testing?).
