💻 Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running, follow these steps.

Prerequisites

In order to run this project you need:

  • Git SCM
  • Visual Studio Code
  • Live Server extension

Setup

Clone this repository to your desired folder:

git clone https://github.com/jorgeabrahan/microverse_portfolio.git

Or download ZIP folder.

Install

Once you've cloned the repository simply run:

cd microverse_portfolio

And this should open the directory with all the files from the repository.

Usage

To run the project, if you are on the microverse_portfolio folder path you can execute the following command:

code .

To open Visual Studio Code on the folder you're at.

Run tests

There are no tests configured for this project.

Deployment

You can deploy this project using GitHub pages if you're added as a collaborator in this repository

  • Why a template?

    • Even though the portfolio is a template-based project, we as Microverse students can give it our own touch; this is in fact a requirement. Also, we have many different options to choose from, and even if a lot of people use the same I will, all projects will be different based on our needs and requirements.
