Is it possible authenticate using username instead email ?

@marcelohack have a look at the sample - the field used is actually completely free for the UsernamePassword provider - the sample uses the email address, but it could be easily rewritten for custom usernames. However if you want to use this together with the OAuth providers, you'd need to make sure the mapping works correctly.
