Unfortunately, https://github.com/rxi/sandbird can't do it. I'm currently looking at alternatives:

Other good options:

https://github.com/civetweb/civetweb
https://www.libhttp.org/

Although, it seems that civetweb is more active than libhttp.

Both are forks of mongoose used in circlet so it's probably easy to use them in janet\joy.
