Any way to display Auth user when connecting?

Hey,
When a connection fails due to authentication it states the user name (or lack thereof) that failed the connection.
But when the connection is successful, it doesn't seem to show that info.
Is there any way that i missed that would display that?
(Running 1.9.1)
