Subject of the issue

jQuery-validate doesn't provide any method to call to get the current running version.

Your environment

All versions.

Expected behaviour

Like jQuery, and other jQuery plugins, there's a method you can call in Javascript to get the current running version.

e.g. jQuery has $.fn.jquery, jQuery-UI has $.ui.version, etc.

It would be helpful if jQuery-validate had the same.
