Jquery mobile is completely broken for blackberry 5.x operating systems with jquery 1.5. It does work with 1.4.3, haven't tried 1.4.4.

Specifically, all pages show at once, nothing is hidden. Beyond that I don't know what else might be wrong.

Yep, BB5 is pretty broken at the moment. We're going to re-focus on this now that WP7 support has been landed. There is already a few issues on BB5 support including #490 and #249 so closing as a duplicate. Thanks!
