Right now there is no option for folks who want to download the jQuery Mobile docs and view them offline. Even a simple zip file of the folder would be something. Please consider adding this.

We've talked about altering the development setup so that there's no dependency on php (which I gave a hearty 👍). In that case we can easily package up the docs and provide it as a github download.

I noticed that - but it's plain text. The style/js etc isn't set up quite right to mimic what we see online. It's workable though.

No PHP, just ColdFusion! ;)

Nice to know it is in the works. Thank you.

Docs will be output to {LOCAL-JQM-GIT-CLONE}/compiled/jquery.mobile.docs.zip if a user does make docs

For stable releases, the file will be at http://code.jquery.com/mobile/VERSION/jquery.mobile-VERSION.docs.zip

Will there also be an easy to find link to the current download someplace on the main site?

I imagine we could add something there somewhere when the next release is deployed. There will also be nightly builds, starting with tonights build, that have the docs in them. Those will be at http://code.jquery.com/mobile/nightlies/YYMMDD/jquery.mobile.docs.zip
