There seems to be some sort of mix-up with the right and left hands in multiplayer.

I am left-handed, and have my settings adjusted to account for that.

I was trying to show a friend the banner pattern I had put on my shield, we were having trouble getting it pointed at them. So I lifted the headset, and looked at their screen, and my left hand (sword) was controlling the shield on their screen, and my right hand (shield) was controlling the sword on their screen.

Also, when I moved one hand, that hand would move, but it would be the opposite side's armor sleeve that moved with it.

the animations are due for a improvement pass. Will look into that. You're playing with 'reverse hands' turned on?

Is that the Vivecraft option, or the Minecraft option? Either way, I turned them both on.

Would it mess anything up to only have one of them on? Like, I could turn off the option in Minecraft, since all it seems to do is move the "offhand" slot to the other end of my hotbar, which doesn't mean much when it's strapped to my wrist, and swap the rendering of each hand's item, which I believe is being overridden by my VR hands in Vivecraft. Am I understanding it right?

I honestly forgot minecraft even had an option. I dont think Minecraft's option will affect it... maybe... honestly it sounds like you have a better set up than I do for testing.

I'll try different options turned on and off next time we're playing together, and see how that affects things. It'll probably be tomorrow some time.

Ok...
-Minecraft: Main hand: left and Vivecraft: Swap hands: on gets me items held in wrong hands, and armor sleeves pointing the right way from the wrong shoulder. (As in I'll hold up my left arm,and my VR left arm will raise but my right armor sleeve will raise up andpoint at my left hand, while the left sleeve stays down)

MC:MH:right and VC:SH:on got me correct held items and wrong armor sleeves.

MC:MH:left and VC:SH:off got the armor working right, unfortunately I can't remember about the held items, but I think they were switched.

MC:MH:right and VC:SH:off worked fine. (Except for how awkward it was doing things with my off-hand, of course...)

In all cases, the VR minecraft skin arms moved properly. The issues were always held items and armor.

Chiming in to say that unfortunately, left-handed people still seem to be unable to use the "reverse hands" function? The hands seem to be inverted horizontally. Most obviously, wearing a shield in your off-hand holds it the wrong way around, clipping it into your face, making you the laughingstock of the server.

EDIT: Sorry, I was not aware this is the 1.10 branch. I found it via google.
