coRal

R package for dynamic bioenergetic modeling of coral-Symbiodinium symbioses

Description

This package contains functions to run simulations and visualize results of a dynamic bioenergetic model of coral-Symbiodinium symbioses. Light, nutrients, and feeding can be manipulated to produce customized, integrated simulations of coral growth and dynamics of symbiosis (e.g., the symbiont to host biomass ratio), including coral bleaching and recovery.

Installation

Install the coRal package in R: devtools::install_github("jrcunning/coRal")
