Generalized gamma distribution fails to match result from stata. Confidence intervals on cure fraction are extremely wide. A couple potential causes:

Poor choice of initial values
Differences between optimization algorithm between R and Stata

Other distributions that have issues w/ wide confidence intervals:

Generalized F
Gompertz
