I don't have as much time as I used to for maintaining Poet, so if there is anyone who's interested in helping out for responding to PR's, merging in patches, experience in managing open source projects, post here!

The scope of Poet is still a lightweight blogging engine, and should not bloat with features that can be handled by third party modules, but features that allow poet be extensible to allow external capabilities (additional data-stores, templating, static rendering) and a maintainer who will continue this perspective.

Thanks!

I would be glad to help. I love this project and would love to be a part of it! I share your view of a light weight blog platform

I'm just getting to grasp with Poet, but have knowledge of JS (so far, mainly in-browser), so I'll keep any eye out for anything to contribute.

What's the best way to update the docs? I was thinking I might update them and create a boilerplate project?

@JosephDuffy editing the docs.md, which get built into the public page is where to go to update docs -- they'd need to be subsequently pushed to the gh-pages branch as well though

Willing to help too, at least as a tester / documentation writer.

I will be deploying my own blog using poet, so count me in...I will be developing new features and fixing some stuff as I come across things that I believe are missing. Might fork the project and work from there.

@jsantell Hello! I am definitely interested in helping out with this project if that's cool with you. I have been looking around for a Node.js project to work on that didn't have such a huge codebase. I love Node.js and Blogging so this project is a win win for me.

@jsantell I'm interested. I want to update jade to pug - even though I use neither and get it up to date if possible. Others I know would be interested and I could use this in a few projects I have in mind.

Is this invitation still open? I really love this project and how simple and elegant it is. I would love to work toward being an active maintainer if possible.
