Welcome to Best Selling Games! This gem will list the current bestsellers of the video game system you choose. You can then select which listed game you want more details on. Systems that can be chosen include Xbox One, Playstation 4, Wii-U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'bestselling_games'And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install bestselling_games
- Run the gem and you will be asked to input which system's bestsellers you want to list.
- After the bestsellers are listed, you will be asked to input which game you want more details on.
- After the chosen game's details are listed, you will be asked whether you want get details from another game on the list, choose another system's bestsellers to list, or exit the program.
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
