Did you try executing it with a task? E.g. Can you run it with --stacktrace and --debug? E.g. @michaelzangl: Do you have an idea what could be causing this? |

I see the same stacktrace when I want to import into IDEA IDE. The import into eclipse doesn't work because the project isn't recognized. The failure because of missing Creating a It'd be very much appreciated if |
@krichter722: Thanks for the stack traces. This is very strange. I never had that issue and @michaelzangl (who's running a linux also never had it afaik). Which Java and gradle versions are you using? |

@krichter722 I did never encounter that problem. It does not seem to be android specific. Du you have the same problem when using your installed gradle (replace ./gradlew with gradle). If not, try using:

You need to install "Android SDK Build Tools" in version 23.0.3 in your Android SDK manager. What is the output after you install this? |

Hi I found in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/37632342/gradle-could-not-create-an-instance-of-type-com-android-build-gradle-internal-d Encountered the same issue after updating to Gradle 2.10. I had to create a folder named /usr/share/tomcat/.android and give it all permissions (chmod a+rwx .android). That fixed the issue for me. Which solve my problem |
