A dropdown menu is coming in Cascade Framework 2. See screenshot below.

Cascade Framework 2 is still under development, but I did just release a project that integrates Cascade Framework with jQuery UI -> https://github.com/jslegers/cascadeframeworkadvanced.

This will also allow you to include a dropdown menu.
