I start Kanata app on windows_unlock and kill it on windows_lock (win10). However, an artifact remains. Not really a problem, it just clutters the icon bar until I mouse-over it.

and NWG gabdube/native-windows-gui#288

workaround: exit the app properly instead of killing it, afaik that's a universal Windows issue, try killing any other tray app
