The current response format for schema and class definitions is nothing more than a raw verbatim XML schema. While this is barely tolerable for XML, for JSON it is nigh un-usable.
For JSON, we should make an exception to our usual rule of converting from the XML form, because the XML form for schemas and class definitions is just plain hideous.
