Overriding static files

Hello,

I tried to override static files (more precisely in static/notebook/js...), becasue I would like to use a specific code cell. Also, I tried editing directly the .js files in this same folder, which produces nothing.

Has anyone ever tried to customize static files, or is there something that I don't understand about static files ? Any help would be very appreciated.
