Adding and updating habits is difficult for non-technical users.

Solution:

Allow the user to click a button for if they are adding, removing or updating a habit..
Change the design based on input to best suit their needs.
ie: Drop-down list of your current habits if it is being updated, so they can easily be selected. Display the last entered rating if possible.
Drop-down list of habits you can possibly remove.
Drop-down list of ratings 1-10 for easy selection.
