Serving static export from sub-folder

I've exported and deployed index.html and main.js to a sub-folder via FTP. Since it's not served from a sub-domain, once you go back and forth it removes the URL path and appends the #slide_no to the main domain.

Is there any setting for the base URL?

Thanks! This looks like a bug, I think pushState should only set e.g. #1 without the hash
