[description]
en = "The Shukla-paksha Ekadashi of `mArgazIrSa` month is known as `mOkSadA-EkAdazI`. During the bright half of Mārgaśīrṣa, the Mokṣadā Ekādaśī vratam is observed, and it is recommended that its religious merits be dedicated to deceased ancestors for their salvation, as stated by Brahmā. King Vaikhānasa, after hearing a sage's advice, returned home and observed this vow during Mārgaśīrṣa. Just as he dedicated its merits to his father, a shower of flowers fell from the sky, leading to a miracle --- celestial event where flowers showered from the sky, and Vaikhānasa's father and ancestors attained salvation! From the heavens, the father blessed his son and ascended to the divine realm. Observing the Mokṣadā Ekādaśī vratam eradicates sins and grants salvation after death. This Ekādaśī is deemed unparalleled in its ability to offer salvation. The extent of its religious merit is immeasurable, likened to a wish-fulfilling gem. Simply reading or hearing of this vratam bestows religious merit comparable to that of a Vājapeya sacrifice."
