Reealuate the current pinned Golang dependencies

We have quite the list of pinned go dependencies. We have been slowly adding them usually when a new K8s minor introduces some conflicting version.

Describe the solution you'd like

We should see if any of the old pinned dependencies are still in use or relevant. Several are over 4 years old and K3s has changes alot since then.
