Short Summary

After setting up keystrokes "Ctrl Alt A" and "Ctrl S", those are recognized by system, but not by Krita. "Delete" and "Enter" works.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

  1. Open the editor by using the tray icon
  2. Set up a keyboard shortcut menu item "ControlLeft+KeyS" for save shortcut.
  3. Run Krita with a new document.
  4. Try to use the menu.

Kando 0.9.0

Installation Method

Via an installer downloaded from a release on GitHub

Desktop Environment

KDE on Wayland

Environment Version

KDE Plasma 6 on Fedora 40

Some days ago, I was able to reproduce this. Now I wanted to look into this - and it works now on my end 😕

Is it possible for you to run the latest version from the main branch and test if this is still an issue? Maybe something changed...? Or don't you have an installation anymore?

If not, I would close this as I cannot reproduce this anymore...

Hello! Sadly, I don't have Fedora anymore. I'm glad it resolved, though - even though by mysterious means..
