It looked that it is a very good project but has things to improve, it does not block properly other apps, the protection (actually) is poor, but is the best I have tried. There's only one thing that does not seem to work, the active protection, I have tried to record audio with my phone and other dispositives and all record perfectly even speaking lowly.

Th jammer app itself does not block other apps in any way. The Passive Jammer utilises the Android API to access and hold the microphone for itself and thereby blocking other apps from using it. This API has been eroded over the latest versions of Android since Android 9.x so results will vary depending on a range of factors beyond the control of this app - factors such as concurrent audio allowance, voice assistant access, system overrides, app managers, background service limitations etc etc.

Active Jammer is a function that attempts to block near ultra high frequency audio signals only (18 kHz upwards) by playing similar audio within that range to confuse any apps on your phone that have a NUHF listening function. NUHF signals are complex and varied and beyond the reliable use of the Active Jammer as any real defence, I keep it there partially as a tester function and also because if NUHF becomes more prevalent then i can attempt to match specific signals with presets.

Isn't the active protection supposed to work on frequencies above the human ear? I hear it :)

The default audible tones is a Test mode so that you can be sure that the device is working properly. Going to the settings section allows you to switch to NUHF which is the jamming mode and consists of mainly inaudible audio but due to the software and device may have audible artifacts present that you can hear. Other settings change how that audio is created.
